Madonna dell’Olivo is a farm that takes its name from an ancient sanctuary dedicated to the Holy Virgin, located nearby. Founded in 2003 by Antonino Mennella in Serre, in the province of Salerno, it stretches over the hills that gently slope towards the
ancient ruins of Paestum. This privileged position, characterized by a unique microclimate in the world, is ideal for the cultivation of the family's centuries-old olive trees. With passion and dedication, Antonino strives to enhance the peculiarities
of each cultivar, producing world-renowned monovarietal extra virgin olive oils.
The olives, still handpicked and milled within a few hours in the family mill, give life to an oil that is one of the culinary specialties of Serre, known and appreciated already 2000 years ago. Madonna dell'Olivo, especially appreciated
for its production of monovarietal oils, benefits from the fruits of over 2,000 plants set in an olive grove that extends over an area of 6 hectares, confirming the company's commitment to enhancing the olive heritage and promoting Italian culinary
excellence worldwide.
